Our Airplane waiting to be loaded with the equipment of the YW8D DXpedition
 
On the rainy morning of June 20, 2003 we (11 persons) started a new expedition; this time to Cotorra Island, which is located at the north-western part of the  very large Orinoco Delta.

Thanks to the support by the Venezuelan National Guard we could go by one of their airplanes into the remote area.
